DUMBO Brooklyn

Welcome to Imagine Dumbo! We serve children 2 months to 5 years. Our state of the art, green facility is the newest addition to the Imagine Center Family. We’re located in the fun and expanding neighborhood of DUMBO, Brooklyn (Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). We take full advantage of our location and all the wonderful sites, merchants and activities the area has to offer. For outdoor play our children cross the historic cobble stone streets to the beautiful riverfront Brooklyn Bridge Park with amazing views of the bridges and Manhattan skyline.

Since 2013 we have been contracted with the New York City Department of Education as a Universal Pre-K program for four year olds, focusing instruction on Kindergarten preparation aligned with the New York State Common Core Learning Standards. We have a full day UPK program.

Hours of Operation:We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday – Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. for Full-time and Part-time care.

Facilities:

• We have 4 beautiful sun drenched rooms with interesting, active DUMBO views where the children learn and explore.
• Conveniently located to F,A,C subways and the Brooklyn Bridge for driving into Manhattan. Close to the Brooklyn Bridge Park with a wonderful outdoor facility and open fields for running and playing.
• We are licensed by the Bureau of Child Care/NYC DOHMH, accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and endorsed by Eco-Healthy Childcare.

Special Activities:

We take full advantage of our location and great neighborhood. The children go on walks to see art displayed in the area, make frequent visits to Brooklyn Bridge Park, visit Powerhouse for Story Time and make pizza with our friends from Front Street Pizza.
