Located in a beautiful landmark building, Imagine Brooklyn Heights includes six classrooms, an indoor gym, and outdoor patio area.
Children participate in all the splendor of this historic neighborhood with its tree lined streets, small shops and farmers market, and local Promenade playground with postcard worthy views of the East River, Manhattan skyline, and the Brooklyn and Manhattan bridges.

Meet the Director
Lashana Dumpson began her teaching career with Imagine in 2002 as an Assistant Teacher at our Port Washington center. A preschool teacher at heart, Lashana has taught in our Pre-K For All classrooms since 2014, while also serving as an Assistant Director. Lashana earned a Bachelor of Arts in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State College and was awarded a Master’s in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University, and is a NYS certified teacher from Birth-Grade 2. Lashana joined Brooklyn Heights in August 2021 where she looks forward to bringing her passion for curriculum to support staff and collaborate with families to provide optimal outcomes for early learners.
