Meet the Director
Catherine Angelet has been an early childhood educator for seventeen years. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Hunter College, the City University of New York and her Master’s in Early Childhood Development at Phoenix University. She has worked as an early childhood teacher and Administrator for children from birth to After-School ages in private and public programs in New York and Pennsylvania. Catherine has been a director at Jamaica Kids since 2009.
Meet the Assistant Director
Teresa Nguyen has been working at Imagine Jamaica Kids since 2010 as a Preschool Head Teacher. She earned her Bachelor’s degree of Early Childhood Education from Northeastern IL University in 2004, and her Master’s Special Education at Touro College from New York City in 2014. She can speak English & Vietnamese. She has been an Assistant Director of Jamaica Kids center since 2022.
