BSC Kids

Welcome to Imagine BSC Kids! We are a large, state of the art child care program serving children 2 months to 5 years of employees of the IRS and local federal agencies as well as families in the surrounding community. Our spacious, open classrooms, arranged in developmentally appropriate areas of learning, provide great spaces for children to explore, discover and learn. Our playground and outdoor gardens are enjoyed daily by all age groups. The nearby Brookhaven Ecology Center is a favorite neighborhood stop to visit and learn about animals, buy local produce in the farmer’s market and play in the open areas and playground.

Hours of Operation:
We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday – Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. for Full-time and Part-time care. We offer a vacation care program for children ages 5 – 8 on days that the public schools are closed.

Ages served:
Children 2 months to 5 yrs.

Facilities:
Our state of the art facility has large classrooms, an indoor gross motor gym, a preschool literacy enrichment room and a beautiful outdoor play area for both the infant/toddlers and preschool.

We are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, accreditated by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and endorsed by Eco-Healthy Childcare.

Special Activities:
We are located adjacent to the Brookhaven Ecology Center, where all the children are able to visit the animals in the petting zoo and participate in seasonal activities like pumpkin picking and spring planting. In our own outdoor space, the children have picnics, tend their own little gardens, and play in the sprinklers during the warm weather. With the help of our Parent Advisory Board we organize fun family gatherings throughout the year.
