Courtyard Kids

Welcome to Courtyard Kids! We are a stand alone building within the Alfonse D’Amato Federal Courthouse complex serving children ages 2 months to 5 years of state and federal employees as well as the surrounding community. We are a state of the art facility complete with an indoor gym and Infant/Toddler and Preschool playgrounds. When you come inside, you will see that we are certainly more than an average childcare center because our large, light filled classrooms are filled with nurturing and warm educators and busy, happy children!

Hours of Operation:
We are open 52 weeks a year, Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Facilities:
Our beautiful center opened in February 2003. It has six classrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, laundry room, indoor gym and a large, state-of-the-art outdoor playground and grassy area.

We are licensed by the New York State Office of Children and Family Services, accreditated by the National Association for the Education of Young Children and endorsed by Eco-Healthy Childcare.

Special activities:
Our well-equipped indoor gym enables us to provide varied physical activities for the children, including dance, movement, fitness and literacy based drama and music classes. Exploration on the grounds of the complex is one of our favorite outdoor activities, along with gardening and playing in the sprinklers during the warm weather. In the fall we embark on field trips to locations such as the pumpkin or game farms.
