Ah, summer. Trips to the beach, dripping popsicles, smells of sunscreen, and sweet breezes. Time outside and an extra dose of magic to the everyday. And…changes to schedules, disruptions to regular care, and ongoing work commitments. As a working parent, summer suddenly takes on a whole new meaning. Add in the “summer slide” (academic and developmental setbacks that children often experience over summertime), sometimes you have to think – who invented this?
That’s why maintaining regular standards in education and care quality during the summer months, especially for preschoolers, is so important. At Imagine, we believe that it’s possible to provide families with reliable and high-quality education and care while still giving children the magic of summertime.
We launched Imagine Summer Camp in 2022 for our 3K and 4K students and we’ve seen firsthand that children bloom during the summer months. We believe in getting the most out of summer -summer Olympics, garden time, regular soccer class, drama class and performances and time outdoors all the time– while ensuring kiddos’ ongoing developmental growth and providing consistency and reliability for our families.
