As we move into fall, we hope each and every one of you are adjusting well to new schedules, routines, with expressions, tunes, and stories about your child’s day. This year, Imagine is excited to offer our families, teachers, and children more frequent support to ensure a personal and positive experience for all.

We’d also like to introduce Jaime Morsony, our new Special Development Support Specialist, working in tandem with Jessica Cha, in providing developmentally appropriate strategies for our children, real-time resources to our families, and on-site coaching for our hardworking teachers. The SPED team will offer family and teacher trainings scheduled throughout the year, as we look to build stronger relationships with each of our communities.

Jaime Morsony
Hello Imagine! I am so excited to be joining your teams to support your diverse learners. I bring over 30 years of experience supporting individuals with different needs, from early intervention through senior care. My work has taken me into classrooms, residential facilities, and community settings, giving me a well-rounded perspective on how to meet learners where they are. This field is especially close to my heart, as I have a twin sister with developmental disabilities who inspires my work every day. I am excited to join your team, and I look forward to supporting children and teachers in their learning and growth here at Imagine.
Jessica Cha
I am thrilled to kick off my third year at Imagine, as the Director of Special Development and Training. Having worked with children with special needs in various early childhood programs throughout New York City and Long Island, in addition to providing Early Intervention and Committee on Preschool Special Education services, I feel incredibly fortunate to continue this work within the various communities that Imagine serves. I am deeply thankful to our Leadership in prioritizing the need for training and more individualized support to our devoted teachers and families. In the spirit of Universal Design, Jaime and I, along with our committed Directors, will work in partnership to meet the needs of our children within our 13 Centers. In our upcoming all staff-conference days, we will be prioritizing professional learning of high-quality early childhood practices to ensure continuous improvement. Here’s to another year of growth, learning, and joy.
