Early childhood educators explored why quality interactions are critical to children’s growth and development and what makes them truly impactful. Through guided reflection and small group activities, participants deepened their understanding and practice of intentional, high-quality interactions with children through the lens of intentional teaching.
Building on this theme, on October 20, Imagine Early Learning Centers hosted our annual Fall Conference, a special day that brought together teachers, directors, and staff from all twelve of our centers. The conference was more than a day of learning. It was a celebration of what it means to be part of the Imagine community and an employee-owned company built on collaboration, growth, and shared purpose.
Throughout the day, participants explored Engaging Young Learners: High Quality Interactions through presentations, small group discussions, and interactive activities. Educators reflected on how these experiences shape children’s learning and overall well-being. They talked about how to bring intention into each classroom experience, from daily routines to big moments, and how these opportunities help children build confidence, curiosity, and connection.
Educators also had the opportunity to learn from one another in role-based sessions focused on effective teaching and teamwork in early childhood education. These smaller groups created space for open conversation where participants could ask questions, share ideas, and strengthen collaboration across centers.
Presenters Anne Marie Robley, Cora Zoccolo Ungaro, Debbie Bermudez, Laura Taluchin, and Jessica Cha from Imagine, along with guest speakers Sheridan Povemba, Jackie Zelta, Sabrina Mele, Ligia Hendre, Karin Sperb, and Jamie Hallowell, led engaging discussions that encouraged everyone to see early learning through new perspectives and reflect on what high quality truly means in practice.
The day also celebrated the Imagine community by honoring staff anniversaries, new graduates, recent parents, and employees who reached ESOP vesting milestones. These moments reminded us that growth at Imagine extends far beyond the classroom. It is about nurturing people, fostering purpose, and celebrating shared success.
At the heart of this year’s conference was the belief that children are strong, capable, and full of potential, and that learning is a process of exploration and discovery. Inspired by the Reggio Emilia approach and the Imagine educational philosophy, each session reaffirmed our shared commitment to creating environments where children and educators can continue to thrive.
Together, we embraced new ways to make each experience intentional, meaningful, and rooted in care. As we move forward, the lessons from this year’s conference will continue to guide us as we shape brighter futures for our children, families, and community.
