Lashana Dumpson is a 20 year veteran of Imagine. She was a Preschool teacher at our Port Washington center before joining the administrative team at Jamaica Kids in 2014, and the Imagine DUMBO staff in August 2019 as the Head PKA teacher and Assistant Director. Next Lashana joined the Brooklyn Heights team as Director and most recently took on the role of Field Director, working with many of our Imagine programs and teams. Lashana earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Community and Human Services from SUNY Empire State College and her Master’s of Education in Early Childhood Education from Grand Canyon University, and recently received her NY State Teacher Certification. Lashana has a passion for literacy and curriculum development. She enjoys bringing storytelling alive for our young learners and supporting staff to ensure lessons are developmentally appropriate and aligned with Imagine’s educational philosophy.
