Brooklyn Bridge Child Development Center serves Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers
Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 6:00pm, 52 weeks a year, for Full-time, Part-time, and Drop-in Care
Located in a beautiful art deco era building, Imagine Brooklyn Bridge Child Development Center (BBCDC) includes seven spacious classrooms, an indoor gym, a STEM room, and a replica of the Brooklyn Bridge as one of it’s many beautiful architectural details.
Imagine Brooklyn Bridge serves Federal as well as community families. BBCDC children enjoy neighborhood walks to take in the sights and sounds of their downtown Brooklyn community as well as to the Metrotech greenspace located just around the corner.

Meet the Director

Michele Malone has devoted more than 20 years to working in education with young children and their families. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at Stony Brook University and a Master’s of Science in Education from Dowling College, with NYS teachers certification for children birth. Michele also serves as an adjunct professor in Touro’s Early Childhood Education program.

Meet the Assistant Director

Tijuana Jackson joined Imagine as the Assistant Director of Brooklyn Bridge Child Development Center from its inception in  2021.   

With the desire and drive to be a  pivotal influence in a young child’s life, Tijuana pursued and earned a Bachelor of Professional Studies in Human Service from Metropolitan College of New York.

 Tijuana entered the field of Early Childhood Education 25 years ago upon realizing her most significant impact upon children is during their most formative stage of life.  Tijuana pursued and earned a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education/Special Education with a focus on early childhood development, learning, and intervention to provide children the foundation for a lifetime of learning and provide a  positive influence on children academically, socially, and emotionally.

Meet the Associate Director

Tasha Atkins has been in the education field for 12+ years. She received her Master’s Degree in Education from Brooklyn College. She is a creative, energetic and passionate leader who is dedicated to working with young children. Tasha believes that the foundation of education should be a fun experience that will cultivate young children into lovers of learning.
