This month, leadership from Imagine is traveling to California to present at NAEYC’s annual conference. NAEYC, the National Association for the Education of Young Children, is a non profit organization whose mission is to promote high quality learning environments for young children, educators and their communities. Since Imagine’s inception, we have worked closely with this organization to ensure that every Imagine center reaches the levels of excellence that NAEYC prescribes to.

WHAT IS IT:

Imagine educators AnneMarie Robley, Gail Krieger and Cora Zoccolo Ungaro, will be presenting on the Leadership track at this year’s conference.

Their presentation, Are You Who You Imagine You Are? Re-imagining Your Organization’s Vision and Leadership Goals”, seeks to encourage early childhood education leaders to examine and clarify their organization’s culture/brand in collaboration with their stakeholders, create buy-in, and successfully share and promote their culture  within and outside their organization.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT:

Following Imagine’s successful rebrand, we want to share our success with other leaders in the early childhood education community.

Promoting achievements in the ECE community and helping others identify opportunities for growth and exploration within their own companies, is an integral part of NAEYC’s work and mission. For our part, we are thrilled to talk to others about why we are an employee owned company and what that means for us and our staff. While we love to say “we are the ONLY early childhood company that is and ESOP” we would prefer to hang our hat on “we are the FIRST of many”.
